TAF Awards Over 500 In Attendance
Once the parents release their kids into the world, the first point of contact is the school bus driver who drives the students to the schoolhouse. Once they’re released out of the classroom from being taught, the cafeteria workers feed them. If they ask their teacher to use the restroom, they might come across a janitor who’s sweeping the floor. The entire body as a whole has an influence over teaching leaders of the world.
WHO IS THE SCHOOL VILLAGE?
Custodians/Janitors, Cafeteria Workers,Principals, Vice Principals, Counselors/Social Workers, Administrators/Secretaries, Teachers, Substitutes, Teachers Assistants, and Volunteers. The OKC Public School District is the largest primary and secondary education district in the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area, as well as the largest in the state of Oklahoma with 95 schools and over 42,000 enrolled students.
WHAT WE DO
We engage the public and have the community vote on who they want us to acknowledge and appreciate for their hard work in the school system.
We host two events a year to show appreciation: TAF Awards Show and Gala Fundraiser Throughout the year we honor teachers & staff by giving out cash, gift cards and certificates to places that include restaurants and day spas.
